Desne

Desne is a simulation game which constructs a random world and populates it with civilisations who interact with each other!

About Desne
Desne was created by me in 2018 as my first in depth game and as such it is poorly optimised and badly written on the backend. However it is fairly stable and crashes are quite rare. Desne was last updated over 3 years ago.
There are also several unfinished features of Desne. For example the newspapers only currently include an event about revolution - I never finished adding more newspaper articles.
Features of Desne
Saving, which can be done by clicking one of the floppy disks in any world. Saving will save all turns up to the present turn of the world, and there are 3 available save files.
A creative mode which allows you to place any tiles on the world. After you click the red button in this mode, your creation will get saved to 'Save 1'
Civilisation interaction through: War, Unifications and Rebellion. War will last a random n amount of turns where tiles will randomly be switched between civilisations. Unification only occurs between small civilisations whereupon they combine to create a new civilisation. And rebellion exists to ensure new civilisations will always emerge.
A way to turn back time and go back forward in time, the number buttons indicate the amount of turns to change by and the arrows indicate time direction: forward or back. The blue dual arrow button is a button that erases all future states after the present state.
Country statistics which include all kinds of information about the country including its characteristics, population and cities.
Background music was created by Ashley Chu.
